Professor Tshepo Mongalo

Professor Tshepo Mongalo was the Head of the Department of Law and a Senior Academic at Monash University South Africa.

He was the Associate Professor of Law within the School of Law at the University of the Witwatersrand from 2013 - 2017. Professor Tshepo is also serving as a member and Deputy Chairperson of the Specialist Committee on Company Law in South Africa (SCCL) and is the former Corporate Law Consultant for the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission in South Africa (CIPC). He is also the former Associate Professor of Corporate Law & Corporate Governance at the University of Cape Town and the Former Director of the Business Registration Reform Project within the South African Revenue Service (SARS).

He has authored and edited a number of books and scholarly articles in the area of corporate law and corporate governance, competition law and corporate social responsibility. He has been a Visiting Scholar of the University of Nottingham, Cambridge University, Brown University, Harvard University and Indiana University.
